About me
Terry Baxter is the Associate Director of the TRIO Upward Bound Programs at NC State University. He is deeply committed to supporting first-generation and underrepresented students in their pursuit of higher education. Terry also actively serves on various NC TRIO committees, contributing to the TRIO community across the state. Prior to his current role in TRIO, Terry served as a third-grade teacher, helping to foster student growth and learning environments. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Appalachian State University and is currently working on his doctorate at Fayetteville State University. Outside of work, he is an avid fan of true-crime podcasts and shows.
